As you can see, the story isn't much, but the deeply dark and twisted characters featured here make up for it. The characters this time out are all mental patients, participating in the Twisted Metal tournament in an effort to have any wish of theirs granted. The biggest improvements, I feel, are the characters and the fully interactive and beautifully rendered environments. The game-play is greatly polished from previous games in the series, and the controls are easy to use. The developers went to great pains to create a "Twisted Metal" experience that captured the violent fury and insanity that was only hinted at in its predecessors. It goes without saying that this is the "Blackest," darkest, most violent and disturbing entry yet. The most successful and acclaimed entry in the "Twisted Metal" franchise, the Playstation 2's "Twisted Metal: Black," adds some much-needed darker elements to what was in 2001, a waning series. The "Twisted Metal" series was known for being the centerpiece of the vehicular combat genre of video-gaming, where people in outfitted vehicles engage each other in deadly tournaments. It's what you'd see if you were on a bad trip of LSD while locked up in an insane asylum. Especially in Twisted Metal 3, I would use Club Kid and put a lot of vortex everywhere."Twisted Metal: Black" is just that - black. My favorite would be the one where you have unlimited Special Weapon. I have used cheat codes after finishing the game.

His special weapon is a vortex, it spins on the ground and vacuums all nearby cars. My second favorite is on Twisted Metal 3 - Club Kid. I think his special weapon is the only one that requires strategy. His special weapon is the one where you place an ion pad at the ground, and you can detonate it any time. My favorite car is on Twisted Metal 4 - General Warthog. Twisted Metal Black just seems to dark to me, literally. My favorite would be Twisted Metal 4 and second favorite would be Twisted Metal 3. I have played Twisted Metal 1 to 4, Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, and little of Twisted Metal Black.

Which Twisted Metal game is your favorite? Which Twisted Metal games have you played? I got so addicted at this game and I think it deserve its own thread.
